enjoy your holidays on our farm.

Waltersdorf is a village in the Zittauer Gebirge in the south east of Saxony. It’s divided into three parts: Waltersdorf itself, Saalendorf on the eastern side and Herrenwalde on the western side. Campsite “Lauscheblick” is in Saalendorf. Saalendorf was founded in 1557 and has a typical rustic style. Here you can enjoy the landscape. There are a lot of possibilities to explore the low mountain range by hiking, climbing or by bike. Three checkpoints to the Czech Republic enable tours across the border for hikers and cyclists. The outside swimming-pools in the surrounding area are cool and refreshing. The museum in Waltersdorf gives you the chance to take a look in the past of our region. There are also a lot of good restaurants with typical food.

Our campsite is a grass court with an area of 10000 m². We have a separate sanitary building with toilettes and showers. There is also a little kitchen, a washing-machine and a tumble-drier.

The farm is property of our family since 1962 and is run as family business since 1991.We`ve got ca. 100 cows, 160 calfs, 150 ha grassland and 200 ha arable land.

In the summer we often have common BBQ`s. The highlight is “Sommerfest” which is a party in the middle of August.

On the Campsite you can enjoy the view to the Lausche (793 m), the highest mountain Germanys on the eastern side of the Elbe. One day a week we have an evening of information in our “Hofladen”.

In the “Hofladen” we sell beef, sausages, milk an Joghurt from our own cows.
